Well, the kids are both out of school and now my schedule has changed dramatically. I refuse to let it totally get me down though, I just have to make a few readjustments. I will be happy with getting to the gym a few days a week, I just need to get the chance to get there!
Our AC/Furnace unit needed to be replaced, to the tune of 11,000 for the loan. So much money for such a little bitty house! However as long as it makes the bills go down and the resale value go up, then we are okay. The playroom will be finished with the paining this week and thats a good thing. Next week will be busy, and there will be two more bodies in here next week. Savannah and Fallon will be here! I wish they would stay but they are happy there. I can't help but think that Fallon would really enjoy Eastern High School. They expect the kids to perform well.
Emilys dental procedure went obsenely perfect last week. I couldnt have asked for better. She went back happy, woke up happy, came home happy. Both of the kids are doing great and Ryan is now a kindergartner!
My diet is going well. I splurged yesterday and had an apple fritter. ONE is okay four is not... I'm working on that, and I did well. Last weigh in was 233.8. Almost 20 total lbs down.
I was accepted into the nursing program! I wont lie I am a little nervous that I will be able to handle the workload and keep the family happy.. but now it's not about 4.0's, tho0ugh it would be nice to keep my GPA up.
Well that's it for now. Toodles!
My own thoughts and perspectives in my life with a terminally ill daughter, going through nursing school and a strong determination to lose 100 lbs in the process!

One week plus a few days
Current Weight 239.4 lbs
While I anxiously await my letter from the nursing program (any day now), I've occupied myself with, well, myself. Going the gym is obnoxiously addicting. I usually stay for two classes and I am sore but feel good afterward. That first day kicked my arse, but it's better now. Every day I push just a little bit harder and I find a new muscle set every time. Lower abdominal that I haven't felt in forever are there again, and THAT is a great feeling. Walking in preparing for my first 5k is slow. 3.45 miles (little over 5k) is at 1:08. Granted I had to do a wardrobe change, get a new bottle of water, THEN started to get a blister from my socks slipping didn't help any. I liked listening to the music on my iPhone though. What a difference that makes! Not nearly so bored.
I also want to add, that getting clothes to work out IN makes a big difference. It's not entirely flattering right now, but the clothes are fit to move with you and that makes a WORLD of difference. Now to get rid of this farmer tan *rolls eyes* so I don't feel like a dork wearing my tank tops to the gym!! Long story short, I have a picnic to go to in August. It's a water park (yay) but at this point any weight lost is better than where I am at now. I also need to tan. Fat looks better tan.
In just the one week, I feel myself being me again and it feels good. The only frustrating part is that what I feel in the inside isn't what is seen in the outside :/
As for my Bug Bug, Well, she has one of them cysts on her butt again. This time I have that anti bacterial cream so it should knock it out soon.
Well it's late. Night y'all!!

Current Weight 243.8
Okay. Here we are! My first post, done on a Wednesday, but I intended to start on Moday. This is the first full week of the summer vacation. My grades are in and now I'm just waiting for the letter. One piece of paper that lets you know whether or not you will be a slave to ITCC for the next four semesters. I only applied to one program, at one location. And If I don't get in then I will go back to just being mommy :D In the mean time I have decided to take on a few projects.
Project number one. Lose this weight. It's getting to be (who am I kidding, it IS) no longer just fluff, it's impacting every aspect of my life so it's time to do something. I toured a gym today, and took a class. I admit without my friend Sunah, I would have NEVER stepped foot in this place, I'm just not comfortable going into places I don't know, especially when gyms are for fit people and I'm no longer in that class. SO.. My journey begins!
By the way the first class was a weight class. OMG my legs are like jello, even 12 hours later. I even landed in the mud when my legs gave out on the way to the car. Not my finest moment. I'm gonna do photos every 10 lbs that I lose. First one is tomorrow.
Project number two. A book club over the summer. Not many details on this one yet.. I'm just about clueless as it gets here. I look forward to assigned reading though, since school has let out, I need something to do! Well, besides house work that is.
Here at the home front, our playroom construction is just about at an end. It will be painted this weekend, and the edges will be finished. Then we will get carpet down and baseboard. It's going to be awesome! Just a few weeks of school left for the kiddos. I decided not to put Em in extended school year. I just want everyone to enjoy the summer, aside form the obligatory doctors appointments and such.
More later, Toodles!
